"Holding On" from Acts 20:17-38

Ministry and walking with the Lord is never easy, and we must expect to go through persecution like Jesus. People hate us whenever we do things right.

An example is a seed that grows quickly but when sun shines so strong, the baby plant would wither and die.

God is going to use "problems" in our life to mold us. Hold on to Jesus and never give up. Live for Jesus not allowing your work, your family, etc.. to destruct you. Love God and know God more. Hold on don't let problems get you destructed.

Jesus, Paul and the rest of the disciples preach repentance. Don't fall into temptations i.e. Can't go to church because of so many reasons, little by little you will fall back to the world. We need fellowship to keep on track.

The problems we go through in life will help other people, allow God to mold and shape you. Pray "Lord help me to learn the lesson you're teaching me."

Another example, is a chocolate cake, cooked inside of the oven for more than 45mins. If we get the chocolate cake before the desired time it wouldn't be cooked well and what will it taste like?
And so, sometimes God put us inside the oven to cooked us and become better.

When you keep on thinking of "neighbors" than "myself" that's when you find satisfaction. The priority should be Jesus is on top, family then your neighbor as second and yourself as last.

Finishing well, finish what we start in our Christian walk. Finish the book we read. And finish all the project we started. There will always be wolves among the sheeps. Protect your leader. If a wolf says something bad, gossip, and attack your pastor. protect your pastor. You will know what kind of tree by the fruit it bare.Keep your eyes to Jesus as man will disappoing you but Jesus never will.

Giving without expecting anything in return.

Acts 20:35 In everything I did. I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembring the words the Lord Jesus himself said "It is more blessed to give than to receive."

Hold on when you're going through hardship.
Hold on to the word of God.

Pastor Message
Revelation 3:8 "I know you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and not denied my name"
Jesus said this to the church of Philadelphia, this serves as a reminder even for us - church today. As followers of Jesus we know we don't have enough strength and we're weak. Though we've got little strength Jesus want us to continue to love Him by keeping His word and not denying HIS name.

Nice Christian Life Experiences
