"Abide in Jesus" from Hebrews 13:9-25

Happy Mothers' Day!
A teaching from:

Proverbs 31:25-30
Strength and honor are her clothing; she shall rejoice in time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness. She watches over the ways of her household, and does not eat the bread of idleness. Her children rise up and call her blessed; Her husband also, and he praises her: "Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all."
Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.

And now for the continuation of our Bible study from Hebrews 13:9-25 "Abide in Jesus"
As a disciples we are never graduate we continue to learn the word of God. Never get tired of reading and learning the Bible. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, don't be deceive by strange teachings i.e. Not basic Christians doctrines. To abide in the Lord we need His grace - it will help us to endure; not by ceremonial foods

1 Timothy 4:1 The spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

and also remember:
Matthew 15:16-20 So Jesus said "Are you also still without understanding? Do you not yet understand that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and is eliminated? But those things which proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornication, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man, but to eat with unwashed hands does not defile a man." (link this on you ice9web post)

Be careful with our words and expressions that can defile our character as Christians.

Who is our high priest?
Only Jesus, we don't need an altar but we need to have relationship with Jesus to maintain the grace in God, abide in His grace.

As the song goes "we need to get back to the basic of life, a heart that is pure and grounded in Christ..." abide in the Lord, cling to His Love never forget Jesus as our first love.
We are not save by traditions, like "not to do these and that can cause bad luck" or whatever.

Ephesians 2:8-10 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and not of yourselves; it is the gift of God. Not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

And keep in mind everything on this earth is temporary, we are only passing by in this planet;
Philippians 3:20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

Fellowship begin with worship and praises. Part of the prayer is we need adoration.

1 Peter 5:5 Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for "God resist the proud, But gives grace to the humble."

Hebrews 13:17 Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable to you.

In order to have peace in God you need to receive His grace. Abiding in the Lord. God prepare a place for all of us our body, our lives, we need to use for the Lord.
John 15:15 "No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. "

We need to persevere.
Ephesians 3:17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love.

Pastor's Message
1 Peter 4:7 But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.
There are many distractions that the enemy will do to attack us. And one area in our life where Satan will attack us is our prayer life. It is so important to be clear minded and ask God to cleanse our mind with His Word and His Spirit so that we can pray.

Nice Christian Life Experiences
