"Worship the Lord" from 2 Samuel 22

Image
What do you want to do in heaven? In heaven we are going to worship. And so, the first thing we need to do is to worship the Lord as HE is our defender. When we sin against God, Jesus is our defender and our lawyer. Jesus is our rock, fortress and deliverer... our shield guard and protector. We need to trust in Jesus. Sometimes we doubt, but we really need to trust in Him. We need to meditate and think of God as He is available 24/7. He is more than everything we ever need. He is the God that will protect us. Even in the midst of our trials God is our defender we need to call out for His name, the primary tool of our enemy is to condemn us and brain-wash our mind with the thought of “we are not good enough for God.” Example if anyone will gossip about you, you don’t need to defend yourself. We don’t have to defend our self as God is our defender. The Lord is our support. We need to realize that God is our support and we can worship Him. People can’t defend for us, people will be use b...

"Be Concerned to Everyone" from 2 Samuel 18

Image
May 6, was the first Wednesday of the month, we are having our communion, we studied Luke 23:32-49. Communion is not a ritual but it's a true fellowship acknowledging Jesus as our savior, the evidence of our faith is our fellowship. ~Pastor Edging Now from our mid-week Bible study, we are in the Old Testament 2 Samuel 18, we greet each other with " Be Concerned to Everyone " Being concerned individually, for example if we hear an ambulance we became so insensitive and just ignore it, we don't care, but we could pray for those who are in that situation who needs help. We need to be concern with our immediate family because they are our first ministry. 13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him. To show concern we also need to "respect", respect the authority and respect for others. As child of God we all have consequences of our deeds. Remember our family, their salvation, and pray for them. ~~~

"Fight the Battle" from 2 Samuel 2

January 14, 2009 How many of us after the hard victorious battle we like to do nothing and rest? It’s during the rest the devil attack and we must continue to Fight the Battle . If we have victory after physical hardship or trials we should ask for the Lord. Never rely on past success and decisions we tool doing the same thing the same way. Ask the lord “do you have something new/directions for me?” Like David when Saul died he was anointed as next king but instead of having a parade or ceremony he prayed and asked God’s plans. When we have rest from the outside battle be careful on the attack from the inside. 1 Samuel 14:50 = Abner = Saul General is his uncle. We have to love one another, do not judge, let God separate the unbeliever. Our weapons are not physical but spiritual weapons which is prayers and Word of God. Be ready what God tells us to do. Fight the Battle wisely, If we act against anger we will not get anywhere. Other people are not our enemy they are tools of God to t...

"Be Devoted to God/good" from Titus 3:8

Image
Being in right/correct order is to Be Devoted to God for example if you were to drive a car the correct order is to start the car and drive but if you drive without starting the car you will not get anywhere it will not work… “Be Devoted to Go(o)d” Titus 3:8 The right order would be God comes first all the time then good works will follow then we are save by grace not by good deeds. God doesn’t bless us by doing good deeds but by what’s in our faith and character. After receiving God’s grace we have the decision to make if we continually do good deeds like think about others, make an effort how we can channel the blessings to others. Remember without God we wouldn’t have anything. Read Psalm 16:2 And John 15:5 => Genuine faith has evidence. Believing and trusting in Christ. It is more blessing to give than to receive. Allow God to use you to be a blessing with someone else. Allow yourself to be use by God. Read 1 Corinthians 3:11 It shows whatever deeds we have is tested not t...

"Be wise Not Foolish" from Samuel 25

Image
November 5, 2008: “Be Wise Not Foolish” Samuel 25 When I went to the midweek Bible study I was surprise to see all the Christmas decorations in our Calvary Chapel in Obrero. (^_^) The teachings for that day was “Be Wise Not Fools” For example it is fool to live for temporary things And wisdom of this world is foolish to God but the wisdom of the Bible is eternal in short we should study the Bible and learn, so we can be wise to live for God. Living to please God we are to find joy, peace and satisfaction in life. How foolish are we to won something when everything belongs to God? Being wise is to use the blessing for spiritual development Learn to give wisely to others. Quick to listen and slow to speak NOT to give in to anger, and not to give in to emotions. (nako ang hirap nitong gawain minsan) It is wise to be humble than to be proud. Overlook each other faults, don’t be guilty of having revenge. Ask God for wisdom in decisions and choices we make. ~~~

Revive, reborn and rebirth

Image
October 11, 2008 around 15:00 Just came home from beach and had a shower... Hmmm words in my mind, Revive, reborn and rebirth, a wonderful feeling. I will remember this date.  Pastor's Message Isaiah 35:4 say to those with fearful hearts, "Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, He will come with vengeance, with divine retribution He will come to save you." with all the problems happening in the world today, we can have peace. Because we know Jesus is coming back to judge the world and save us. Be strong, don't fear Jesus is coming.  ~~~
