How can we please the Lord? To adore Him, obey His words, have fellowship. Let's find out what pleases God. People may not like us to put on our new self. We always have persecution in our family and friends though we don't like it and yet the Lord wants us to learn. In 1st Peter the Christians were under the rule of Romans. Even in the world today we are in suffering. Even though everybody are not believers, even Jesus, all of us suffer to do what is good. First thing we need to do if Jesus want to reign in your life is that we have to be pure. Respect the ladies if you look in to the woman with lust in your heart you commit adultery. What really matters is what in your heart. If we fall into sin we need to be restored. There is no rest in fighting for our faith. Don't relax and always be on guard. Don't be a trouble maker and avoid trouble makers. Trouble maker means good for nothing person. Proverbs 24:21 Fear the Lord and the king my son, and do not join with the rebellious. Always be reminded of values. We need not to have any jealousy in any dealings of our life. Don't relax with our relationship, we have to be aware for someone who will destroy our relationship. Pray every single day. When praying let the presence of God feel you. If we are slow spiritualy we will not grow. As we grow the enemy will also be strong to destroy us, and so be more prepared. In order to win with the enemy guard our eyes, mind and heart. Do not judge or you will be judge. Never relax be aware of the enemy. Don't let your sin comes to your heart. Do not entertain evil thoughts. Sin leads to death of our soul. Take it seriously. May 6, was the first Wednesday of the month, we are having our communion, we studied Luke 23:32-49. Communion is not a ritual but it's a true fellowship acknowledging Jesus as our savior, the evidence of our faith is our fellowship. ~Pastor Edging Now from our mid-week Bible study, we are in the Old Testament 2 Samuel 18, we greet each other with " Be Concerned to Everyone " Being concerned individually, for example if we hear an ambulance we became so insensitive and just ignore it, we don't care, but we could pray for those who are in that situation who needs help. We need to be concern with our immediate family because they are our first ministry. 13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him. To show concern we also need to "respect", respect the authority and respect for others. As child of God we all have consequences of our deeds. Remember our family, their salvation, and pray for them. ~~~

Some people often live to impress other people but the motives are different, they have the hidden evil plans and only God knows everything. We all need to have a true motives in giving, as sometimes we forget the meaning of giving thanks to the Lord. Proverbs 10:13 He who answers before listening that is his folly and his shame. We need to have a right attitude, do not judge. Exodus 22:28 Do not blaspheme God or curse the rules of your people. As sinful nature we want to fight back but don't fall in to sin just let them be. Sometimes we are doing right things at the wrong time even other people doesn't see it "right" but you need to be honest with your words and actions. Always be prepared. ~~~

Doubt is the opposite of Faith, without faith we can't please God. Faith is waiting patiently for something to happen and not wishing, faith is believing and taking steps by steps based on God's word and God works. We don't know what tomorrow holds but God knows, we see the world around us; and we know there's a creator. Example if we see a building you wouldn't think it's an accident product of evolution of course there's a designer an architech and engineer and just like human being is not a product of evolution, there's a designer - God. To forgive . Forgiven is all debts are gone. God take away all the debts in us, Jesus paid the debts when He died on the cross. Don't live in traditions we have Jesus Christ, we are forgiven, we go to Him for forgiveness. Psalms 32:1-2 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven. Whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit. We should be happy and thankful. We should not bring any animal sacrifice but come to Jesus. An animal can't be measured to man to cover all the sins. Some people worship material things to make themselves happy, that is what the world is doing. Until our sin in our heart are remove we can't worship Jesus. Someone who is not born again can't experience true spiritual joy. When we receive forgiveness it removes our guilt. God shown us loving kindness we don't deserve. 1 Corinthians 13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. (Talks about love kindness and good deeds. Being kind begins with the thought of forgiveness.) If we are blessed think of how we can bless others. Think about all the things you have, everything belongs to God. In an alcohol rehab, a person introduces themselves as "my name is ____ and I'm an alcoholic"... same as being a sinner not "I was a sinner" but "I'm a sinner", we must realize we are all sinner saved by grace we need to over throw our need of flesh and fight the sinful nature that satan brings our way... Jesus did get over come satan and so we must rely on Jesus never say "I'm in control" and we can overcome it ourselves. Imagine this, can we go on a day without sin? being perfect no evil thoughts or white lies. Put on Jesus Christ and don't have or let satan take over, start everyday with prayers. You can't play with fire and not get burn, saying "little sin, little lies" it will only take little by little to finally realize it gets bigger and before we knew it you fall in the trap of satan.
