"A heart of a leader" from Nehemiah 5:1-19
Nehemiah's attitude back at chapter 4 - should be an example for us Christians. As a leader, you must encourage. Here are the 3 problem of Nehemiah; population increase, increase in tax and they have no food to eat. On building the wall, was not a problem because the king sustain the expenses but the workers are Nehemiah's problem. The tax they pay is from the debt they also had. As we Christians, if one of us have had a problem we should stick together and pray. Nehemiah got angry because the people were disunited and building of the wall stopped. Nehemiah rebuke them with love. He also said to them walk in fear with God. So the one who took the vineyards gave back to the one who own it. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
