"Righteousness is a Gift" Romans 5:17-21

Image
Righteousness is a Gift from God. Throughout the Son if God. Philippians 3:9 (NIV) and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. Even great leaders fail, we should focus out attention to Jesus not to our Pastor or leaders. Fix your eyes to God. He is the beginning and the end He will never fail you. The more we know God's law, the more we are accountable. 1 John 5:11-13 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

"You Must Not Do What They Do" from Romans 1:26-28

Image
The world says follow your heart but the Bible says Prov. 28:26 Those who trust in themselves are fools, but those who walk in wisdom are kept safe. immorality are everywhere Ephesians 4:19 Ephesians 4:19 (NIV) 19 Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, and they are full of greed. Truth without Love is hypocrisy; Love without Truth is brutality. Leviticus 18:22-27 22 “‘Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable. 23 “‘Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it; that is a perversion. 24 “‘Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is how the nations that I am going to drive out before you became defiled. 25 Even the land was defiled; so I punished it for its sin, and the land vomited out its inhabitants. 26 But you must keep my decrees and my la...

"Be Used By God" from Acts 4:13-22

Image
The book of Luke and Acts are written by Luke. And he is used by God as well as all the other disciples. So if you're used by God, don't think of your background. But willingly used by Him to serve Him. 1st pt. in verse 13-17, We have to be courageous and 2nd pt. in verse 18-22, God is our strength and help. Peter and John are courageous to be used by God, and they proclaimed Jesus as the Messiah. Every word in the Bible will surely happen. Don't hesitate if you have no degree, because just like the disciples they were fisherman's but now became apostles proclaiming the good news to the people. The key to be used by God, is to really spend time with Jesus. Meaning to spend time with His word and that's the secret. The Bible said, God choose the foolish to shame the wise and choose the weak to sham the strong. When it comes to being used by God, do not boast what you did. Christians like Jesus, needs His mind not your own mind. Absorb Jesus nature of what Hi...

"Cry Out To Him" from Esther 4:1-17

Image
We should always cry out for God. He is not deaf. God is working in the life of Mordecai and Esther. The first point we must know on this chapter is that there's hope and the second is not to fear. When we are so down on our problems, it's like torring the clothes of Mordecai. Through the sorrow and the pain, we should always and remain praising God. Also, the decision was made, that's why Mordecai mourn. He doesn't want the Jews to perish. We have to pray to those who mourn and need help, prayer is powerful, pray for those who are in need. We are family consider your churchmate's as a family member. Annihilation means total destruction. As for us Christians, we can come to God anytime, through the blood of Jesus. We should always cry out to Him. ~~~

"Be Faithful To Obey Your Promise" from Nehemiah 10:1-39

Image
2 points in this teaching ; in verses 1-29, the sign or agreement of the covenant and in verses 30-39, obligation of the covenant. Be faithful to God when it comes to our relationship. Be faithful to God when it comes doing business. Be faithful to God when it comes supporting God's work. Nowadays, who is your seal today? It is the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is our down payment from the Lord in our salvation. As Christians we should be a role model to everyone. Deuteronomy 28:1-14 Blessings for Obedience 1 If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. 2 All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God: 3 You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country. 4 The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your f...

"Spiritual Renovation" from 2 Chronicles 34:1

Image
Be transform from renewing of your mind. Josiah means healed by Jehovah. Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. We want to be clean in the word of God. Occupy till I come means we need to be faithful until He comes and not to be busy. If you're faithful whatever works you have, God will reward you especially in serving God. Faithful means loyal. Worship is not something like to make us ready. Revelation 14:10-11 10 they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.” Receptive means quick to response. God will give us heart of flesh. We are complete by God's grace....

"Give Your 100-Percent To God" from 2 Chronicles 31:1-21

Image
The original vs. imitation, the original one really gives 100% quality on any product. As for us in our service to God, we need to give our 100% too and we need to give it wholeheartedly. Honoring God with your wealth, we should be reminded to give your 100% to God and do not get tired. We need to "let go" of our idols. Exodus 23:24 Do not bow down before their gods or worship them or follow their practices. You must demolish them and break their sacred stones to pieces. Minister means is to serve. When you give your 100% to God, you should give thanks to God. We should sing praises to God in 100% also. Psalms 135:1-3 Praise the LORD. Praise the name of the LORD; praise him, you servants of the LORD, you who minister in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God. Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good; sing praise to his name, for that is pleasant. God really blessed King Hezekiah and this will be also the same to us - honoring God makes o...

"We Have An Enemy" from Matthew 13:24-43

Image
Psalm Reading Psalm 20 For the director of music. A psalm of David. 1 May the LORD answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you. 2 May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion. 3 May he remember all your sacrifices and accept your burnt offerings.[b] 4 May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. 5 May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the LORD grant all your requests. 6 Now this I know: The LORD gives victory to his anointed. He answers him from his heavenly sanctuary with the victorious power of his right hand. 7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God. 8 They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm. 9 LORD, give victory to the king! Answer us when we call! For our teaching this morning, Remember that the seed is the w...

"Use God's Blessing (Correctly) Properly" from 2 Chronicles 21

Image
We learned Jehosaphat was a good King thou he made alliance with unbeliever. This gives us to our tonights theme "use God's blessing properly" and correctly. For example - some people are blessed with more than one cellphone, but most of them used thier own cell phone (blessing) for scams and fooling other people, spread gossip, etc.. Thus, using the blessing incorrectly and not for God's glory. In our chapter tonight, Jehosaphat was blessed, and he gave the Kingdom to his first born son Jehoram. Now if you can imagine what is the greatest gift? the greatest gift God gave us is the spiritual blessing. Saved by grace. We don't limit God's blessing because the real blessing is to know God more. "Rejoice to those who rejoice and mourn to those who mourn." Do most people follow that? Most of the time - worldly people will do the other way around - they get jealous if you are happy and get happy if you mourn. This is also the same as Jehoram used his pos...

"Be A Faithful Servant" (Serve Faithfully) from 2 Chronicles 19

Image
Henry Sy the owner of SM (Shoe Mart) was faithful in little things and as we can all see he was blessed with big things and owns many establishment. Now in our study for tonight, Jehosaphat was committed to God but he made an alliance with Ahab who hate God. He made an alliance with unbeliever. The Bible taught us that we should not be unequally yoke. You can have acquaintance with unbelievers but don't get too close as in more than friendship. Like Daniel he was surrounded with pagans and unbelievers but still he remain faithful to God. And, God was with him in the lion's den. Faithfulness is so important. Hebrews 6:10 God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. And whenever we make a mistake surely we will be rebuke by the word of God to correct us. Even though we are doing good in our ministry but if you compromise in another area, God will see the area you need to change. Fear - is ...

"Don't Be Legalistic" from Matthew 12:1-14

Image
Psalm Reading Psalm 18:25-36 (New International Version) 25 To the faithful you show yourself faithful, to the blameless you show yourself blameless, 26 to the pure you show yourself pure, but to the devious you show yourself shrewd. 27 You save the humble but bring low those whose eyes are haughty. 28 You, LORD, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. 29 With your help I can advance against a troop[a]; with my God I can scale a wall. 30 As for God, his way is perfect: The LORD’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him. 31 For who is God besides the LORD? And who is the Rock except our God? 32 It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure. 33 He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he causes me to stand on the heights. 34 He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze. 35 You make your saving help my shield, and your right hand sustains me; your help has made me great. 36 You pro...

"We Are God's Workmanship" from 2 Chronicles 17

Image
The reign of Jehoshaphat. He followed the Lord's commandments as his father David - walked blameless. He may commit a sin but he quickly repent. We need to remember - Our protection is not trusting man. The Lord is with us and let Him guide us. "In God we trust." God is our pilot and we are just the passenger. Matthew 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Obey His word and let the Lord speak to you. Romans 3:29-30 29 Or is God the God of Jews only? Is he not the God of Gentiles too? Yes, of Gentiles too, 30 since there is only one God, who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through that same faith. 31 Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Not at all! Rather, we uphold the law . Attachment includes the note and its objects ~~~

"Live By The Spirit" from Matthew 10:21-42

Image
It is not enough to be student only but also a servant. God didn't gave us the spirit of timidity of but spirit of faith. They are filled with knowledge but they denied God in thier actions. Jesus tells us Love Him more than your family make Him your first priority. For example if your family did wrong and choose them more than what Jesus says is right then you are making your family your first priority. Be lead by the Spirit and deny ourselves. Not as the world says "Love yourself first and then everything will follow." It should be "Love God first and everything will follow" If you can't deny yourselve and continue to live by sins you can not follow Jesus. Deny our flesh and follow Jesus. You can't attend the church because you're Busy? What is being BUSY? B.U.S.Y. = Being Under Satan Yoke. We will be rewarded according to what we have done. After you receive it will result giving. All peoples will know that you're Christ Disciples if we love ...

"He Is Risen from The Dead" from Matthew 28

Image
We need to know the importance and highlight of the Easter Sunday. Is it Christ or the egg? Be reminded that Jesus told His disciples to Stop doubting. Christ Resurrection is not man's effort but God's. God will use the foolishness of this world to shame the wise. Matthew 16:21 From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life. John 2:19 Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days." It is a sin of omission if we forget the message of God. 1 Corinthians 15:4-6 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, and that he appeared to Cephas,[a] and then to the Twelve. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers and sisters at the same time, most of whom are still li...

"He Came For The Hopeless" from Matthew 9:1-13

Image
Revelation 22:11 "Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy." Luke 5:20 When Jesus saw their faith, he said, "Friend, your sins are forgiven." Our sins are forgiven Colossians 1:12-14 12 and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. 13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. Christ has the authority to forgive our sins as He came for the helpless to forgive our sins. The Lord knows the heart. Hebrews 4:13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account. Don't pretend that you don't need His forgiveness. We are...

"Make A Right Choice" from Matthew 7:7-14

Image
The unbelievers will teach you "do unto others as what they have done unto you or do not do unto others what you don't want them to do to you" If they gossip about you then gossip about them too? If you don't gossip about a person but he/she gossip about you will you do the same? Jesus teaching "do unto them as you want them to do unto you" this is the what the believer should follow. If they are selfish. Don't be selfish if you want to receive aboundantly. Though it is so hard to do, Love your enemy even if they gossip about you. Remember that the way to heaven is narrow. Acts 14:22 strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. "We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God," they said. We must go through many hardship in order to enter the kingdom of God. This narrow way will lead us to eternal life - to be with God forever. Pastor's Message Psalm 119:14 I rejoice in follow...

"God is True and Just in His Judgement" from Revelation 16

Image
We can't bribe God for us to go to Heaven, by doing good works to cover our sins are not enough. God will truly judge us righteously. It is only by His grace that we are saved and His gift of salvation. Matthew 13:41-42 41 The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. 42 They will throw them into the fiery furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Those who got the mark of the beast will be inflicted with painful sores. Deuteronomy 28:27 The LORD will afflict you with the boils of Egypt and with tumors, festering sores and the itch, from which you cannot be cured. In this life all us will experience tribulation. But this tribulation is different from the "great tribulation" we will experience at the end times. God will truly judge to all sinners. For example those who commit homosexuallity, adultery and whatever your sins are will be righteously judge. The goodnes...

"The Enemy Has Been Defeated" from Revelation 12:1-9

Image
We must be aware that Jesus already defeated our enemy. And we have won the battle. The woman in Revelation 12 is the nation of Israel. John 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. God will not tempt you but He will protect you from Satan if you just let Him. As Christians even if we are successful Satan will do everything to destroy you but make sure you know that Jesus already defeated Satan. Ezekiel 28:12-19 (The description of satan.) 12 "Son of man, take up a lament concerning the king of Tyre and say to him: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: " 'You were the model of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. 13 You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz and emeral...

"Listen to His still Small voice" from 1 Kings 19

Image
Ahab - king of Israel his wicked wife Jezebel in which he is afraid. 2 Timothy 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline. Another name for Horeb - Mt. Sinai Luke 9:61-62 61 Still another said, "I will follow you, Lord; but first let me go back and say good-by to my family." 62 Jesus replied, "No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God." Even he we fail from discouragement Jesus will still use us ~~~
