"I Struggle With Sin" from Romans 7:14-25

Image
Be honest before God that we are struggling with sin. The law is spiritual. It is God's way to change people but it's not the way to save man. What is the greatest commandment? Love the Lord your God with all of your heart. How to know if you're are worldly: What do you think, want the most? How do you use your money? What do you do in free time? Who are the company you enjoy the most? Who are the people you admire? What are the things you admire? Where do you spend your free time? We struggle in so many things before God. Romans 7:15-17 (NIV) 15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. 16 And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. 17 As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. Isaiah 50:1 (NIV) Israel’s Sin and the Servant’s Obedience 50 This is what the Lord says: “Where is your mother’s certificate of divorce with which I sent her away? Or to w

"Control Our Worldly Desires" from Romans 7:7-13

Envy and Lust are sin. The meaning of: Concupiscence desire, Rom. 7:8 (R.V., "coveting"); Col. 3:5 (R.V., "desire"). The "lust of concupiscence" (1 Thess. 4:5; R.V., "passion of lust") denotes evil desire, indwelling sin. without the law sin is dead. for without the law there are no transgressions. Hebrews 12:1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. James 1:14-16 (NIV) 14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. 15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. 16 Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters. Hebrews 3:13 New International Version (NIV) 13 But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you

"God Offers Enternal Life" from

Romans 6:19-23New International Version (NIV) 19 I am using an example from everyday life because of your human limitations. Just as you used to offer yourselves as slaves to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer yourselves as slaves to righteousness leading to holiness. 20 When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness. 21 What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death! 22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in[a] Christ Jesus our Lord. Wickedness are increasing. We are not under the law but Grace. God wants us to exclusively use for His glory. To put off the old selves and put on the new one. God wants to use us as living sacrifice. To use us for His glory. If Sin will reign in our life ther

"Righteousness is a Gift" Romans 5:17-21

Righteousness is a Gift from God. Throughout the Son if God. Philippians 3:9 (NIV) and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God on the basis of faith. Even great leaders fail, we should focus out attention to Jesus not to our Pastor or leaders. Fix your eyes to God. He is the beginning and the end He will never fail you. The more we know God's law, the more we are accountable. 1 John 5:11-13 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

"The Curse Has Been Cut Off" from Romans 5:12

Who is the first person in the Bible who committed sin? It was Adam , as he is the one who first received the commandment from God. Romans 5:14 Nevertheless, death reigned from the time of Adam to the time of Moses, even over those who did not sin by breaking a command, as did Adam, who was a pattern of the one to come. That consequences are: Sin entered the world Adam ushered the sin, sorrow and all the trouble we have right now. Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned-- "Death" here is not only physical death, but also spiritual death. It's surprising that even if you don't teach a child to sin, she/he commits a sin. The reason we are dying because Adam sinned against God. But, Jesus came so we will have life. Jesus is the way the truth and the life. James 1:15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-

"Received the Promise by Faith" from Romans 4:13-25

Image
Romans 4:13 It was not through law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith. Abraham is a man of faith. When God told him he will be the father of all nations - he has no son. But he believed and received the promise of God. Abraham received the promise before the law was given. Galatians 3:14 He redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit. Genesis 28:14 Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south. All peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring. All the things we have in faith has no value if we are justified by law. The promise is worthless if the Jews seek to be justified by morality - they can't depend on any promise of God. 1 John 3:4 Everyone w

"Be A Man/Woman Of Faith" from Romans 4:1-6

Martin Luther is a man of faith. - To be a man of faith is simply believing in the promise of God. - Justification is an act not a process. Justification a forensic term, opposed to condemnation. As regards its nature, it is the judicial act of God, by which he pardons all the sins of those who believe in Christ, and accounts, accepts, and treats them as righteous in the eye of the law. Justification is not the forgiveness of a man without righteousness, but a declaration that he possesses a righteousness which perfectly and for ever satisfies the law, namely, Christ's righteousness (2 Cor. 5:21; Rom. 4:6-8). Sanctification involves more than a mere moral reformation of character, brought about by the power of the truth: it is the work of the Holy Spirit bringing the whole nature more and more under the influences of the new gracious principles implanted in the soul in regeneration. In other words, sanctification is the carrying on to perfection the work begun in regenera

"We are All Guilty" from Romans 3:9-20

Romans 3:10 As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one; Don't quick to judge for you may be doing the same way as them. we should not offer our body to sins. but offer it to God as instrument. We are all sinners. Psalm 14:1 The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good. Psalm 14:2 The LORD looks down from heaven on the sons of men to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God. Psalm 14:3 All have turned aside, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one. Woe to a man to thinks evil while he ia still in bed. By nature we are not seekers of God. No one plans to be Godly. Abiding means staying with God. Pray to let our tongue be tame by the Holy Spirit. And, guide us in everyday decisions.

"God looks at the Heart" from Romans 2:22

In Genesis 17:10-27, circumcision is in the spirit and physically. - spiritomy - is from the greek word. - circumcision - sign of separation. exclusively chosen by God. To bring this as of today this is like baptism it is the sign of that we are declaring we are Christians. If the baptised person gives no evidence of salvation than it is a mockery. The Gentiles are uncircumcised before. We must remember that God looks at the heart. And, the law is like a thermometer it will tell you have committed a sin but it will not remove the sin. Being a Jew means nothing if you're not obeying the law of God. Everything that you do are in vain if its not done from the heart. - Transgressions means crossing the line. you know that it is wrong but you are still doing it. What are the disadvantage of uncircumcised? separated from messiah without Christ excluded from citizenship from Israel foreigners of the covenant and the promises - God made for his people. without hope - you

"Leave Out Your Beliefs" from Romans 2:17-24

The Jews are said to be in the "high status" because they were the chosen ones and the Messiah came from their blood lines. They also have the law and are boastful of it. But do all of them have the good character? Remember that it's not all about facts but character counts. Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Psalm 147:19 He has revealed his word to Jacob, his laws and decrees to Israel. 20 He has done this for no other nation; they do not know his laws. Praise the LORD. Anyone who knows the good doesn't do it is = sins. We have law of God Psalm 119:99 I have more insight than all my teachers, for I meditate on your statutes. 100 I have more understanding than the elders, for I obey your precepts.

"Let's Obey The Lord" from Romans 2:12-16

in the law it is said that "ignorance of the law excuses no one" All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. (Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law. They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts sometimes accusing them and at other times even defending them.) This will take place on the day when God judges people’s secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares. - Romans 2:12-16 Luke 12:47-48 “The servant who knows the master’s will and does not get ready or does not do what the master wants will be beaten with many blows. But the one who does not kn

"God Only Can Judge" from Romans 2:1-5

Romans 2:1 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgement on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgement do the same things. whenever you point 1 finger to someone, there are 3 fingers pointing back to you. for the same way you judge others the same way it will be judge unto you. Luke 6:37 "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. when we are enumerating the mistakes of others, we are looking to ourselves. the heart is what we should be careful with. do not use scripture to attack unbelievers. ask the Lord to change you. commit - being performed habitually. O LORD, you preserve both man and beast. Those who are quickly to judge others are g
