"Jesus is Great" from Revelation 1:9-20

Revelation 1:3 Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.

The book of revelation talks about judgement
revelation in greek word means apocalypse, it is the book for those who are seeking the truth.

James 5:7-8
7Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord's coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains. 8You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord's coming is near.

For us to endure hardship we need the Holy Spirit and let us be overflow with the Holy Spirit to endure everything as all strength are found in Jesus.

When we are in the Spirit, it is easy for God to speak to us and hear God's voice.

The seven (7) churches in Revelation:

  1. Ephesus

  2. Smyrna

  3. Pergamum

  4. Thyatira

  5. Sardis

  6. Philadelphia

  7. Laodicea

Daniel 10:5-6
5I looked up and there before me was a man dressed in linen, with a belt of the finest gold around his waist. 6 His body was like chrysolite, his face like lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and his voice like the sound of a multitude.

Bronze symbolizes judgement.
His sound is like rushing waters means His word has power and authority and must be heard - simply listen to the voice of God.

God's word can wash and transforms us. And it can go to the deepest part of our heart if we only allow it to penetrate.

Revelation 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand and of the seven golden lampstands is this: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

Pastor's Message
Psalm 44:21b He knows the secrets of the heart

Man can identify what's inside our hearts by what comes out of our mouths, for out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks. The psalmist wrote that God knows the secrets of the heart. In other words, He knows what's going on inside our hearts, such as the hidden sins, our struggles, anger, unforgiveness, the sin we habitually do and others things. God is omniscient. We need to have integrity and be honest to Him.
