"Know Jesus Better" from 2 Peter 1:1-11

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.


The reason why Jesus has not yet come because He was waiting for you to repent.

Peter -(Simon) means solid rock
Peter is not only a servant but also an apostle.

Some people would think that serving God can save you. God doesn't show favoritism. If we don't receive grace and peace then we are not saved.

Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9not by works, so that no one can boast.


1 Thessalonian 4:7 For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.


God want us to finish the race, and one barriers for us to finish is "sin".
Avoid foolishness (specially listening to songs), if you want Jesus, better developed a Godly character.

Philippians 4:12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.


-Exercise your faith and develop to know Jesus better. The goal is to grow in our relationship with God.

1 Thessalonians 1:3 We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.


Faith, Love and Perseverance and to Godliness - having bright relationship with God.

1 Timothy 4:7 Have nothing to do with godless myths and old wives' tales; rather, train yourself to be godly.


Train yourselves being Godly.

1 Thessalonians 4:1 Finally, brothers, we instructed you how to live in order to please God, as in fact you are living. Now we ask you and urge you in the Lord Jesus to do this more and more.


Exercise more and more do not be stagnant in your with the Lord.

Ephesians 4:32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.


Ask help to God to see.

1 Peter 1:2 who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, for obedience to Jesus Christ and sprinkling by his blood:
Grace and peace be yours in abundance.

Colossians 4:12 "Epaphras, who is one of you and a servan of Christ Jesus. He is always wrestling in prayer for you."

As Christians we need to be devoted in prayer. Just like Epaphras, he is always wrestling in prayer. Let's follow his example and be a man and woman of prayer. God Bless!
