"True wisdom comes from God" from Job 28:1-28
Proverbs 2:6 For the LORD gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
Human have a wow wisdom especially wow in terms of technology nowadays. For what we should use wisdom in spiritual not on worldly thing.
Verse 1-11, People are really bright through the wisdom that comes from their mind.
Where should we really see the true wisdom comes from God?
Meaning here Job points out this to his friends that is their wisdom is true by convicting Job. Wisdom cannot change it to gold.
Hebrews 12:28-29 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, 29 for our “God is a consuming fire.”
Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge,
but fools[a] despise wisdom and instruction.
Hebrews 12:5-11 5 And have you completely forgotten this word of encouragement that addresses you as a father addresses his son? It says,
“My son, do not make light of the Lord’s discipline,
and do not lose heart when he rebukes you,
6 because the Lord disciplines the one he loves,
and he chastens everyone he accepts as his son.”[a]
7 Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father? 8 If you are not disciplined—and everyone undergoes discipline—then you are not legitimate, not true sons and daughters at all. 9 Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live! 10 They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness. 11 No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.
Why the wicked prosper and the righteous suffer?
James 3:13-18
13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. 14 But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. 15 Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. 16 For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.
17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere. 18 Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.
The true wisdom comes from God only not on ourselves.
