"Be a True Child of God" from 1 John 3:1-10

1 John was written by John apostle He saw and proclaim Jesus as God.
Love was mentioned 41 times in this book.

For us to be a true child of God we need to experience God's love and receive that Love. We need to receive Him as your personal Lord and Savior.

If you don't have a relationship with God them you are the son of the devil, it is so important to know why Christ love us and His love is unconditional whether you are good or bad, Jesus still loves you.

John 3:16
"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

So many people doesn't understand that verse, that who so ever believe in Him.

1 Corinthians 2:9
However, as it is written:
"No eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those who love him"


Romans 8:29 For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.

Even if we are not doing what is wrong but if in our heart we want to do it then it is still a sin. Your heart matters most, when you break 1 of the God's commandments then you break them all.

Sin is Lawlessness.

Whoever keeps the Law but you break one of them, then you break them all.

What is sin?
It's anything you wanted to do.

1 Timothy 1:15 Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.


Hebrews 4:15 For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet was without sin.

When we do commit a sin, there is a conviction inside us that we need to repent.

Be honest before the Lord.

1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders

We are more of the conquerer the battle in the spiritual warfare.

Romans 6:6 For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with,[a] that we should no longer be slaves to sin—


1 Peter 1:23 For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.

Hebrews 11:6 "Without faith it is impossible to please God"
In the context of this chapter the author was talking about the faith of the believers in the Old Testament. They are members of the Hall of Faith. Some of their experiences seems like impossible to believe but they have showed their FAITH and as a result it is pleasing to God. For us, we also need to have faith because it is one of the ways to please God.
