"Don't Show Favoritism" from James 2:1-13

A taxi driver who always shows favoritism, the driver doesn't want a poor passanger but only stop by a wealthy looking people. The driver passed by an old lady who look poor and stop by the younger ladies with "sexy and social" appearance, the ladies robbed all the money from the driver and even left him naked.

The moral lesson of the story is to treat everybody with equallity and not to be biased as God didn't show favoritism.

Favoritism is a sin of omission.

Cornelius from the book of Acts was the first Gentile to became Christian and he proved that God didn't show any favoritism.

Remember that, We are not serving men but we are serving God.
Matthew 7:1 "Judge not, that you be not judged."

Prison ministry, visiting the prisoners are hard ministry because they have foul smell, even though we must show compassion and equallity.
Proverbs 14:21 He who despise his neighbor sins but blessed is he who is kind to the needy.

We are serving not in our conditions of our life. Spend time to God not to ourselves alone. Love your fellow christian even though they have different studies.

Favoritism is a sin of omission.

1 John 3:4 Everyone who sins breaks the law. In fact, sin is lawlessness.

All of us breaks the law at least one. How many laws do we have to break before we became law breaker?

It takes only one. But if we confess and repent our sins. God will give us understanding and change our hearts by God's grace.

Psalm 130:3-4 If you, O Lord kept a record of sins, O Lord who could stand?

We are saved by grace least anyone should boast. In our obedience to God - should be in a right way and right motives in sincere/genuine heart.

Grace = gift of God we don't deserve.

Mercy = something you deserve to give as in forgiveness in actions not only in words.

Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.

Pastor Message

Psalm 18:17-18 He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the Lord was my support.

We have to always REMEMBER that our God (Jehovah) is a BIG GOD that will never stop in supporting. May we trust in his power knowing that He can do anything for you and for me.

Nice Christian Life Experiences
