"Be a True Friend" from 2 Samuel 17

There are many different kinds of people in this world, some will just be there for you as they know they can use you, ask money from you (without paying) but when you need their help they won't be there anymore.

We may not find a true friend in this world but Jesus will always be our friend.

Before you can be a true friend you need to know who is your friend.

Bitterness can cause anger, unforgiveness can break a friendship. We need to forgive one another to deal with friendship.

Part of the definition of love is not keeping the negative side of the person. Forgiveness is needed but we don't need to be hypocrite.

In dealing with advice it must come from the Bible.

We can only find a true friend in the body of Christ.

Bad company corrupts a good character. Everytime you hear their bad expressions, sooner it will seems like "not bad anymore". Be very careful with "expressions", never say "it's only expressions and it's not bad" as you keep on hearing, it can influence you.

Be an influence rather than be influenced.

Proverbs 21:30 There's no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the Lord.

Know your friend very well. To be a true friend be willing to help them in times of trouble. Prayer is powerful use it to help, it can reach all over the world prayers connects people.

Proverbs 16:18 Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall.

Pride can kill us if you don't want to repent.

God will bring them, but love will keep them.

Nice Christian Life Experiences
