Mark: 1. 29. As soon as they left the synagogue, they went with James and John to the home of Simon and Andrew. 30. Simon's mother-in-law was in bed with a fever, and they immediately told Jesus about her. 31. So he went to her, took her hand and helped her up. The fever left her and she began to wait on them. 32. That evening after sunset the people brought to Jesus all the sick and demon-possessed. 33. The whole town gathered at the door, 34. and Jesus healed many who had various diseases. He also drove out many demons, but he would not let the demons speak because they knew who he was. ---

John 4:8 Luke: 12. 4-5 "I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him. Ask God to give you voice to speak properly 1 Corinthians: 2. 4. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, 5. so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God's power. Obedience Jeremiah: 29. 11. For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
