"He's Working In You" from Esther 2:1-23

These three books; Ezra, Nehemiah and Esther have the same stories. Esther is the 1st book among the three. And, the reason for their exile is their own sin. The author of Esther is unknown. Esther is purely historical among other manuscripts, as there's no "God" word mentioned in this book but you can see by understanding that God, is the main point in this story. In verse 1-14, God has a good plan; and in verse 15-23, He will bless His people. Here in verse 1-4, the plan to look for a new Queen doesn't matter either rich or poor - can become a queen. Citadel means place of refuge, fortress or a place to protect them. It's like taking a daily bath - to be cleanse by the word of God. One of the characteristics of Esther is being humble. Hadassah is the other name of Esther. The picture of Mordecai here is just like God, in reality we are being Fatherless and he is taking the responsibility for Esther. 2 Corinthians 6:18 And, “I will be a Father to

"Honor His Word" from Nehemiah 13:1-31

In celebration of "Araw ng Dabaw" fiesta in Davao City, the Mayor ordered "gun banned" to maintain peace in every area. As for us, we should obey God's word. The first point, is to be consistent with His word. In the book of Numbers, Balaam was a curse by the Israelites. But that curse turns into blessing. The reason for learning God's word is because just like Jesus, He was a curse for some but made a blessing for all of us. Nowadays, the world is corrupt and pervert. Jesus is the light of the world whoever follows Him will never be led into darkness. Psalm 19:7-11 7 The law of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple. 8 The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes. 9 The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the LORD are firm, and all of them are righteous.10 They are more precious th

"Live A Life Of Worship" from Nehemiah 12:1-47

Dedicate this 2012 as a life of worship to Him alone. Living a life of worship begins to us. As representatives of God we should set example to everyone. If you are a father, teach your family to spend time and feeding them by the word of God. Don't allow yourselves to be caught up in work, but spend time with your family. Ezra means help, a priest and a scribe. Levite's were like assistant pastors, they are the back up of the priest and also they are the one who prepare the things for the priest. We are encourage to praise God. Spending time with Him and you will learned a lot. Annals means history. The word thanks or thanksgiving are mention in this chapter so many times. Psalm 134:1-3 Praise the LORD, all you servants of the LORD who minister by night in the house of the LORD. Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the LORD.3 May the LORD bless you from Zion, he who is the Maker of heaven and earth. Amazing that in the Bible it was never mentioned that you

"God Demonstrate A Great Sacrifice" from Matthew 27:45-61

Taj Mahal was built for the Love of a man to his wife. It was a huge sacrifice. Jesus was the living sacrifice. He received all the pain that was supposed to be for us. Without holiness no one can see God. God separate himself to Jesus because he is now getting all the sins of the world in some sense God allow this to happen in order to save us. Psalm 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd, I lack nothing. Hebrews 5:7 During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with fervent cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. In our walk with the Lord we also need to sacrifice our time and effort. Humility is thinking of others and not himself only. Jesus was the perfect attonement. Christ is now opening the gate of heaven to all the believers. Turn to Isaiah 53:9-12 We will see that the good shepherd lay down his life for his sheep. Hebrews 9:14 How much more, then, will the blood of Chris
