"Hold on to the Faith" from Revelation 3:7-13

Image
Faithfulness with our walk with the Lord. The most important thing is how you love the Lord today and not before. Being Holy is not being perfect. We need the Holyness of God to hold on. Even the demons believe that Christ is Holy. John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. 1 John 5:20 We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true—even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. Isaiah 22:22 I will place on his shoulder the key to the house of David; what he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open. Zechariah 8:20 This is what the LORD Almighty says: "Many peoples and the inhabitants of many cities will yet come, James 1:12 Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised t

"Wake Up" from Revelation 3:1-6

Sardis it is the great city of wealth and fame but it is also called the "dead church". Jesus Christ rebuke some of its member. It is also important to refresh ourselves with God's word. Sardis was a rich church but they fell into worshipping idols. Remember that we can worship any things in this world more than God. Why does it talk about the 7 Spirits? Seven was the completion as God created everything in 7 days. The church of Sardis needs to be revived. When we talk about waking up, ask ourself, how do I relate it in our daily life? We learn about so many things in this world, and for us to learn anything we need to always learn the basic first. This the same thing in our relationship with the Lord. We are so busy in our daily tasks that we forget the basic of what God wants us to do. Always remember what God has done for you and me, remember the cross. Faith without deeds is dead. We need to wake up. Revelation 3:1-2 1 "To the angel of the church

"Turn to God" from 2 Kings 19

Proverbs 3:5-6 5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Psalm 91:1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Though it is very hard for us; it is important to be humble and turn to God in prayer, as prayer is like breathing. Do not be worried as worrying is the opposite of believing. F -false E -evidence A -are not R -real As human we are controlled by flesh sometimes we tend to solve our own problem. But we must pray to God. Praying is not to inform God and request to Him as he already know what we are going through. Rather praying is worshipping and listening to God. Jeremiah 33:3 'Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. ' 1 John 5:14-15 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he he

"Be Pure" from Revelation 2:18-29

In colors, what do we use to symbolize pure? It's white. Now if you mix black and white, what will be the outcome? The outcome is Gray - in Christian life it is not Good to have an impure relationship with God. Though we are all under constructions we must keep on listening and be washed by the word of God. What is repentance? It is something we need to change and to stop doing with our sins. Do you still worship idols? Jesus knows whom we worship in our heart and He knows if you are serving Him well. Jezebel - 1 Kings, the wife of King Aham. She influence King Aham to worship Baal. She is not a Jew. And she is very wicked. We must Love God first. He is patient. Romans 2:4 Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God's kindness leads you toward repentance? It is only through repentance that we can avoid sins. Luke 13:3 I tell you, no! But unless you repent, you too will all perish. Jeremiah 36:3 P

"Honor Your God" from 2 Kings 17

Worshiping is our lifestyle and idolatry need not to involve images of idol or stone; it is possible to worship such things as money, another person, or fame. What are some "idols" you might be tempted to worship? Exodus 20:3-5 3 "You shall have no other gods before me. 4 "You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me, We should not ask help in the enemy but rather ask help to God. Do not ask help to people who does not have God in thier life. Depend on God only. The source of encouragement is from God. We should not forget God. Don't serve two masters at the same time. Don't be a half Christians - fearing God and compromising thier sins. ~~~

"Jesus is Risen" From Matthew 28

Resurrection is a fact and real, He said to the people that I will be resurrected. Do you believe that Jesus rose from the death? We Christians have hope and can find eternal life from Jesus resurrection. We must believe Jesus is risen at the first day of the week. We need to be joyful and not be afraid as Jesus is risen! The "cross" was the payment and the "resurrection" was the receipt. Because Jesus prove it that we will go to heaven if we have faith. Luke 24:36-38 36 While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you." 37 They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost. 38 He said to them, "Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? Jesus stayed with His disciples for 40 days after He is risen. 1 Corinthians 15:4-6 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5 and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twel
