"Received the Promise by Faith" from Romans 4:13-25

Romans 4:13 It was not through law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith. Abraham is a man of faith. When God told him he will be the father of all nations - he has no son. But he believed and received the promise of God. "Be A Man/Woman Of Faith" from Romans 4:1-6

Martin Luther is a man of faith. - To be a man of faith is simply believing in the promise of God. - Justification is an act not a process. Justification a forensic term, opposed to condemnation. As regards its nature, it is the judicial act of God, by which he pardons all the sins of those who believe in Christ, and accounts, accepts, and treats them as righteous in the eye of the law. Justification is not the forgiveness of a man without righteousness, but a declaration that he possesses a righteousness which perfectly and for ever satisfies the law, namely, Christ's righteousness (2 Cor. 5:21; Rom. 4:6-8).
