"Do not covet" from 1 Kings 21

Even a little child can commit covetousness if we don't discipline them.

Exodus 20:17 "You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor."

James 1:14 but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed.

If we are materially minded we always want just a little more.

The sin of covetousness sometimes may be looked small because it is the 10th commandment but out of covetousness comes many sins. Covetousness will happen to everybody if we are not on guard.

Deuteronomy 19:15 One witness is not enough to convict a man accused of any crime or offense he may have committed. A matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.

If we humble ourselves and repent God will revive us the grace we need as He is a merciful God, no matter how far we are, if we turned back from our sins God will forgive.
Psalm 86:15 But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God,
slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.

Ezekiel 18:19-24
19"Yet you ask, 'Why does the son not share the guilt of his father?' Since the son has done what is just and right and has been careful to keep all my decrees, he will surely live. 20The soul who sins is the one who will die. The son will not share the guilt of the father, nor will the father share the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous man will be credited to him, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against him.

21"But if a wicked man turns away from all the sins he has committed and keeps all my decrees and does what is just and right, he will surely live; he will not die. 22 None of the offenses he has committed will be remembered against him. Because of the righteous things he has done, he will live. 23 Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign LORD. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?

24"But if a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits sin and does the same detestable things the wicked man does, will he live? None of the righteous things he has done will be remembered. Because of the unfaithfulness he is guilty of and because of the sins he has committed, he will die.

32For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign LORD. Repent and live!
