"Blood Only" from Hebrews 9:11

What's your reaction when you see blood?

Behind the blood is life. What's so special about blood?

Lev 17:11 For the life of flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.
14: for it is the life of all flesh. Its blood sustains its life. Therefor I said to the children of Israel, "you shall not eat the blood of any flesh, for the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats shall be but off."

The life of every creature is in the blood that's why they need to bring a perfect sacrifice for us. . For redemption. Sin blemish. . But Jesus had no sin He was perfect to sacrifice for us; the wages of sin is death and Jesus sacrifice for us, He was the only one perfect.

Ephesians 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.

Without blood of Jesus we wouldn't be forgiven. Jesus fulfilled the commandments He give it for us, sacrifice for us to be redeem.

1 Peter 1:18-19 Knowing that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold, from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot.

Lamb without blemish or defect = if we put our faith to Jesus; no longer we continue our wicked ways and have faith in Jesus.

John 6:53-54 then Jesus said to them "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you."
"Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

Spiritualy if we apply the blood of Jesus we are forgiven we have to believe by faith. So important we don't have the head knowledge of the blood but also by heart. We can't approach heavenly God unless we have a sin.
If we did something wrong our conscience will say to us "we did something wrong" Jesus was the lamb of God who take away the sin of the world.

Believe by faith and trust and do not doubt, don't go back to the world the deceitful desire of sin. Always run back to Jesus; Sin is a trap to let you go further away from God. Run back to the one that will give you salvation = Jesus.

Living your life to service to Him live your life for the Lord that pleases Him and not yourself. Live a life that is Christ centered and not self centered.

Titus 2:14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.

We must be eager to do what is good live for Jesus and useful for Him dedicate our life for Him.

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus.

Hebrews 9:15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

Jesus is the only mediator and bridge to God. When Jesus died on the cross He said "it is finish" He pays the price we couldn't pay.

Will = is a document to what is going to happen after the person dies. Jesus give us this Will and died for us the one that gives out the will so that it will be enforced.

Exodus 29:20 Then you shall kill the ram, and take some of its blood and put it on the tip of the right ear of Aaron and on the tip of the ear of his sons, on the thumb of their right hand and on the big toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood all around the altar.

Be careful what we allow to enter in our ears and mind; we apply the word of Jesus and have faith in Him; be careful what we think about sin - deserve punishment.

And Jesus is the only sacrifice to cover our sin.

Matthew 26:28 "for this is My blood of the covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

The power of blood of Jesus Christ.

Luke 12:15 then He said to them "watch out! be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.
=We live in a material world and we need material things to live such as food and clothing. The danger is to want more material things than we need. When we are not satisfied with God's blessings, then we become greedy.
